I love food! I mean, who doesn’t? I love finding new places and trying different foods from different cultures. I’ve gathered a few places in East London that are my go-to places for food. If you ever find yourself in the area, definitely check it out x

Giraffe Full English BreakfastGiraffe – World Kitchen – Rating: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 Price: £££ Portion size: 5/5

One of my favourite places for a pretty full English breakfast! Their breakfast is delicious and I love how they have cubed potatoes rather than regular chips. I always visit the one in Westfield Stratford City as you can sit outside the restaurant, rather than in the darker light inside. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast if you want to get full. (They also have pancakes and other options if you want a sweet breakfast).

However, I am not a major fan of their main menu only because they’re not my type of dishes. Their breakfast is something you would want to try before you go shopping in Westfield or visit central which is only 20 minutes away by the tube.

Cafe Rasa Malaysia - Mee Goreng MamakCafe Rasa Malaysia – Rating: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 Price: ££ Portion size: 5/5

At lunch, I always want to find something filling but also not so filling that I would want dinner when I get home. Noodles are always the best option for me because I love carbs (even though too much is not that good).

This Malaysian cafe was delicious. Their spices and seasoning were delightful. If you want something different for your taste buds, head down to the Great Eastern Market in Westfield Stratford City. (They’re also halal and vegan-friendly x)

Their menu is not crazy long but they do have quite a few items to choose from as it is a small cafe. I would definitely recommend that you try the ‘Mee Goreng Mamak’ (Noodles! – I chose chicken as my topping) and ‘Popia’ (Vegetable spring rolls) to understand why I found it so tasty.

Saffron Kitchen – Rating: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 Price: ££££ Portion size: 5/5

Only a stop away from Westfield, you will find Saffron Kitchen which serves Indian dishes with a twist. If you’re not feeling for Indian food you can order something off of their fusion menu (still delicious). I have been here a couple of times and every time I leave with my stomach stuffed and my jeans unzipped for space.

Although the price is a little more expensive than your regular Nandos, it is definitely worth visiting. If you do need any help ordering, the staff is really kind and explain well. If you love meat, you should order one of their mixed grills which arrives at your table sizzling (perfect to share).

Before you leave (if you still have space), you should order their red velvet cookie dough with ice cream of your choice. It’s not overpowering at all and it is quite light. Any other dessert place I have been to do not serve red velvet so you can’t miss this, even if you only come in for their desserts try this x

We cannot forget the amazing ‘Masala Chips’! One of the greatest creations in this world honestly. One of the only reasons I come to Saffron Kitchen. In all, the restaurant’s menu is just delicious and I have found no faults.

Pan-n-Ice – Rating: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 Price: ££ Portion size: 3/5

If you happen to be looking for a nice, quick and tasty dessert in East London, Pan-n-Ice is my go-to place for something on the go.

From picking your toppings to watching the staff roll your ice cream in front of you, your taste buds are tingling to just eat it. Although the portion size is quite small, it is tasty and I guess the whole point is to be a light dessert.

The cute truck is hard to miss near Chestnut Plaza in Westfield Stratford City. If the weather is nice you can easily take it to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park for a stroll x

Hopefully, if you ever find yourself in East London you would try these places out. More blog posts like this for the rest of London because I have a lot to share! Hope you enjoyed reading this and that you are not too hungry xx

*I did not eat all of these things in one day, I would explode! I’ve gathered these images and my opinions over time and several visits
