As the end of March is approaching, I would love to share my beauty faves of this month. All these products have worked wonders for me and are all affordable. The essentials have made a statement in my makeup bag this month and I love it! Product prices are linked to their corresponding picture x
Makeup is nothing without a good base and I have learned this the hard way. For so long, I only used a cheap primer mainly as a moisturiser. Ever since discovering this Smashbox primer, it has honestly done wonders for my make up. The smooth base literally lets makeup glide on so easily. I was hesitant to buy this primer as it was a little pricey. Literally, a little goes a long way. I have the larger tube and I doubt I will need to re-up anytime soon. I received mine from the States but you can buy this on the Smashbox website for £26!
Okay, I was definitely late to this bandwagon because I was still caught up with my Maybelline Colossal Cat Eyes Mascara, but an essential mascara that leaves no clumps and provides length is necessary so I had to try this one by Too Faced. I’ve had this for some time now but this month I have loved this on my natural lashes and my falsies. The application is smooth and the colour is really dark. Layering this is also clean because I hate that clumpy look. Just allow some drying time and apply evenly.
Now, this was a great bargain find. After leaving my pomade to dry by accident, I discovered this pomade in my local Superdrug. I haven’t tried any expensive pomades but the pigment on this is intense. I love a dark brow and this allows me to achieve that. With a small angled brush, eyebrow brush and concealer, Instagram baddie eyebrows are achievable. Honestly, if you are looking for a cheap alternative to any pomade, try this one out because the consistency is so smooth and the colours are rich.
I have been on the hunt for a new concealer for some time now. I failed at finding my shade with the new Makeup Revolution concealer trend as it was never in stock. I needed a change of my LA Girl concealer (plus, my shade changed during the winter) and this is what I picked up. First of all, I was surprised they even had my shade as I struggle to find colours that fit. But the consistency was a lot creamier than expected and it blends into my foundation so well. I have rinsed this concealer so much. You have to give it a try to understand what I mean.
Another fave this month has been the three colours at the bottom of this palette which have worked amazingly. Normally, building up product under the eyes causes creasing but these colour blend out smoothly to get rid of them pesky dark scars on my face as well as the dark shadows. The consistency and the brightness of the orange shade attracted me.
My go-to shade this late winter has definitely been this colour. I have been loving bright shades in the winter as it adds a pop of colour to your outfit. The vibe is set in the snow with the blue polish too which is super cute!
Lastly, my all time favourite eyeliner! I have fallen in-love with this eyeliner because the colour pay off is ridiculous. For £16, it sure does last long. I have been through tons of eyeliners, whether they are in pen form, screw on brush or a gel. This has to hands down be the best one I have tried. Past liquid pens have been terrible at saying dark or have dried out and this has held up for the month and I will deffo restock when running low. If you need a dark and easy-to-apply eyeliner then I promise this is what you are looking for!
